Diva Challenge 126: “Stencil Fun”
For this challenge we were to use a stencil as a string. I have several stencils but unfortunatly the images they would leave were too small to tangle in. Instead I used the cardboard that is left after you remove tokens from a board game. I had saved it to use in art journaling.

Here are the tiles I created with the stencil.

Diva Challenge 127: “DuoTangle v. VII: Cirquital/Opus”
I haven’t participated in the I am the Diva Challenges in a long while. It felt good to work on one. I might work on some past challenges later this week.
This challenge was to use Cirquital and Opus tangles. I really like how the first one came out. The second one is a bit plain.

A few Doodles..
I felt better yesterday and was feeling creative so I worked on several pieces. The first two are Zentangle Inspired Art; the third is a Zendoodle and the rest are Doodles. All were done on 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock.

Zentangle Canvas
Well this is actually a Zentangle Inspired Art since its larger than 3.5 x 3.5 and done with acrylic paint on canvas. I tried doing it with the Sakura Micron pens but with the largest pen being .5mm it was taking forever to do as well as it was sucking the marker dry. I then tried sharpies but it dried them in a matter of seconds. So I finally decided to use acrylic paint to create it. It was a bit more difficult to get nice lines so I gave up on trying to get nice lines and let it be. The background was created by blending stamp inks. I really like how it came out. I will be giving it to my grandmother as a birthday gift.
