The Documented Life Project: Weeks 9 & 10
I was sick for a while and got behind on the prompts. This past weekend I caught up on the prompts I missed. There are no planner pages for these two weeks.
The prompt for week 9 was collage something recycled.
Everything on here is recycled except for the letters used in Can’t Wait for Spring. The background is wrapping paper my friend Ruth made for a gift she sent me, the border is strips of the halls cough drop wrappers which have motivational sayings, the moon/sun is the label off a beer bottle, the flowers are made with flatten beer/hard cider bottle caps and scrap cardstock.
The prompt for week 10 was to make a list of what makes you – you.
The first thing I thought of was dna so I decided to try to draw dna and then write the things that make me me on it.

The Documented Life Project: Week 8
The week 8 prompt was to create a flap for your flap.
I completed this on February 22nd but since it was my birthday I didn’t get a chance to post it. Then I got sick and wasn’t able to put it up til now.
Since the 22nd was my birthday I decided I would make the flaps about it. I used the flaps so that when they were open they would create a cake and a section for me to write about my day. On the other sides of the flaps I wrote birthday quotes, events that happened on the day I was born, other people born this day and zodiac sign information. I also used a lot of purple since purple is my favorite color which is the color of my birthstone which is amethyst.
To create these pages I used gesso, Koi watercolors, acrylic paint markers, Sakura Micron pens, washi tape, paper flowers and watercolor paper.

The Documented Life Project: Week 6
The prompt for Week 6 was to look on pinterest and be inspired. I choose to be inspired by Teesha Moore. I also chose to be inspired by her style not just a specific piece. I normally don’t like collage pieces but since her style also includes doodling and drawing I thought I would try it.
I really like how my first piece turned out. As soon as I decided on Teesha Moore I knew I wanted to do a peacock and I looked for a quote I liked to go with it.
This is my second piece for the prompt. I’m not all that thrilled with it.
Here are my planner pages for the week.

The Documented Life Project: Week 5
The prompt for week 5 was to add a doodle border.
When I read the prompt I immediately had an idea. However I then became sick and felt horrible all week. This was the best I could do. I used gesso, Distress Inks, Sharpies and a Sakura Moonlight Pen. I might create my first idea and add it in or just do it in an art journal.
