Was unable to complete these during the prompts day due to the holiday and celebrating Thanksgiving twice.

Day 26 – Shining Star by Earth, Wind & Fire

The face didn’t come out too bad.  However her hair is a bit big. Created using watercolor crayons, Sharpies, Uniball White gel pen and Sakura Micron pens for the face and Sharpies and Sakura Stardust Gel pen for the stars.

Created using acrylic paint, Sakura Micron Pen and labels.

Day 29 – Higher Ground by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Couldn’t think of anything so I just went with a quick doodle.  My handwriting is horrible here. Created using acrylic paint pen and Uniball Signo White Gel pen.

Day 30 – Brave by Sara Barielles

Had a hard time coming up with something for this one even though I like the song.  My handwriting is also horrible here too. Created using acrylic paint, watercolors, acrylic paint marker, Sharpies and Sakura Micron pen.

Day 25 – Gone, Gone, Gone by Phillip Phillips

There is actually more blue ink then I had planned. I accidentally spilled my entire bottle of blue India ink all over my table. It looked like I had slaughtered a smurf or three. So I picked up whatever I could with a dropper and used it on my piece as well as on a few blank pages. This way not all of it would go to waste.

Day 24 – Happy Birthday by Altered Images

Today is the NaNoJouMo host’s birthday.  I decided to do the page for her.  I drew a tangled birthday cake.  I used Sharpies and watercolors.

I forgot to cut the flags before attaching the string.  I thought I could do it without removing it but it didn’t work out so well.

I used some watered down acrylic paint so the words in the background would be visible.  Unfortunately it came out lighter than I wanted.  I wanted it a much darker green.
